What is for Dinner tonight?

Seeing how cold the weather is here DownUnder, Dinner calls for SOUP!
Tomato Pasta Soup with Garlic Bread actually!

So here is the recipe for the May 2009 Issue of Recipes+

Tomato Pasta Soup with Garlic Bread

Serves 4

Preparation time: 15 min
Cooking 20 min
Ingredients:
1tbsp Olive oil
2 med brown onion, chopped
2 cloved of garlic
420g can of condensed Tomato soup
1/4 cup tomato paste
2.5 cups of Vegatable stock
375gr packet fresh roast chicken and garlic ravioli
2 tblsp shredded basil
6 back at home dinner rolls
1/2 cup garlic flavoured margarine
1/2 cup of grated tasty cheese
freshly grated parmesan and shredded basil to serve

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over moderate heat. Cook and stir onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes or until onion is soft.Stir in undiluted soup, paste and stock. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, for 5 min
  2. Add Ravioli; simmer uncovered, for 8-10 minutes more or until Ravioli is cooked. Remove from heat and add basil
  3. Meanwhile, pre-heat the oven to 200C/180C fan forced. For each bread roll, make 4 evenly spaces out cuts crosswise, about 2/3 of hte way through the roll. Spread margarine in each cut. Place bread on baking try. Sprinkle with tasty cheese; bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese melts and is golden
  4. Ladle soup into serving bowls. Top with parmesan and basil, serve with garlic bread
