Recipe Tuesday

Spinach Dip in a Cob Loaf

prep time: 15 min


Ingredients:

  • 1 large Cob Loaf
  • 2x 250g frozen spinach
  • 1x 30g packet Spring Vegetable soup mix (dry)
  • 1 cup mayonaise
  • 1 cup light Sour Cream
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1x 190g can water chestnuts, sliced

Method:

  1. Hollow out cob laof and cut bread into 3cm pieces
  2. Mix all the ingredients together (prefably the day before)
  3. Place mixture into laof and serve with the bread.

I like to cut some extra bread as it never seems to last!

And the best thing, no dish to wash after the dip is finished!!

That sounds good, but what is cob bread? Is it similar to the big round Hawaiian breads?
